NOW SOLD:Sweetheart keyless in D. Cherry wood.

Post by Cass »

Hi. It's time to rationalise my flute collection :)
I have for sale, a Sweetheart keyless flute (in D). It's made of cherry wood. In very good condition (a few slight marks in the wood..not noticable unless you catch it in the light).
Serial number 3034. It's quite a light flute, and plays well, and I'm only selling it because I also have a rosewood version. I can email pictures to anyone interested.
(Perhaps this one would be good for anyone starting out on the Irish flute, as it blows easily.)
I'm looking for GBP 150 plus shipping at cost. (New cost in the UK is getting on for nearly twice that.)
PM me if you are interested in further details.
Cass.

PS...just noticed...it's the bottom one in my avatar!

I am not in the flute business, but in this case I will make an exception, to mention Sweetheart flutes. On a daily basis, I play both Boehm and Irish flutes (somewhat depending on my mood, whichever), and my daily wood flute is a Sweetheart, in D, with a serial number not far from yours.

I think you are selling somewhat short, but that is your business.

Anyway, to you in NW England, UK, greetings from New England, USA.

:-)

PM, to you.

Thanks!

BTW, to the flute forum, as far as I am aware the Sweetheart remains FS.

Yes, it's still here...a bargain if you live in the UK. Not so much if you live in the USA. Exchange rate I'm afraid! Sorry folks...one of those things!

The Sweethearts are much more expensive to buy over here in the UK. :)

ps...please give it a good home someone...it's getting upset because it hasn't been played for a few weeks!! :sniffle:

Cass,

I just checked out the Sweet's web site and the cherry flute just like like yours has gone up from $275. to $295. Just thought you'd like to know.

Lyn

Is there a C&F, oh, never mind, but is there a (what's that famous stout maker?) record for the greatest number of bumps?

Lyn, when you answer a thread, like in your post above, the thread moves to the top of the list or is "bumped" to the top.

Hope this helps, and welcome to the board
