There are few people who can take things in--maybe let things in is a better way to say it--as you do, dubh, and then weave such insightful replies with strands from your own experience, knowledge, and heart. Happiest 5K to you, and happy us for having you in the family.

Meh... He's okay, if you like that kind of thing...
And whether the blood be highland, lowland or no.
And whether the skin be black or white as the snow.
Of kith and of kin we are one, be it right, be it wrong.
As long as our hearts beat true to the lilt of a song.

In honor of this momentous occasion I raise my glass of Woodpeckers(early mom's day present :D ) to a master of the board. Sir, you do have a way with words!

Tell us something.: Been a fluter, citternist, and uilleann piper; committed now to the way of the harp.

Oh, yeah: also a mod here, not a spammer. A matter of opinion, perhaps.

Here I sit, within my home,
Trying to come up with some kind of appropriate and witty commemorative poem.
But the muse is fled and I am nervous,
As the city lost all cable service
Right in the freakin' middle of The Return of the King.
So it's this, or go and have a dring.
Comcast, Comcast, bah, bah, bah.

Happy fivekay, O Dubster.
