I prefer a 14.5mm gouge. 15mm is too broad and 14mm is too narrow.

Have you ever tried to kill a full grown wild poppadum with an In-Cannel gouge then?...

I am surprised that you would attribute this set to Asad Rashid when any pipemaker worth his poppadums would know that this is a Finbar Patel set from County KillCurry.
Hi Mike, It might just be my memory that eludes me but I'm most certain that this is a set by Rashid.
But the wood turning does look a bit Patelesque, so you could be right.
Many makers have copied Finbar Patel over the years so it is very hard to say for sure.
Any close up images of this lovely set?

I haven't. In fact, I have always found that for problems (no matter how big or small), nothing resolves them better than a tatically applied (and generously so) wad of C-4.

I've killed many a full grown wild poppadum,
with a piping hot curry.
There's those who know,
and there's those who think they know,
and there's those who just have'nt got a fecking Clue.

Seriously, this topic is so stale. So I feel compelled to contribute. I thought it was Mick's fault!
