Great.

I went lookin' around for some Dr. stuff and ended up with the Band..and the Staples. Hard to believe that two of the guys on stage, playing their ass off, are dead by their own hand...
It's only Rock' n' Roll...eh?

Lovely little quote at the end.

I saw The Don interviewed on Irish TV many moons ago and when asked what "American Pie" meant he replied "It means I'll never have to work again"...

A great song.

I may have posted this a while back... maybe it's time for it again.

Mike and the Mechanics - The Living Years (live)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NksyYaI5Hq0

Awesome lyrics!

"... I wasn't there that morning, when my father passed away, I didn't get tell him, all the things I had to say, but I think I caught his spirit, later that same year, I'm sure I heard his echo in my baby's newborn tears, I just wish I could have told him, in the living years..."

In memory of guitarist Robbin Crosby (August 4, 1959 – June 6, 2002), who was one of the former lead guitarists in the glam metal band Ratt. Crosby died at the age of 42 of a heroin overdose two months prior to his 43rd birthday.
