I've always thought Io looked remarkably like a pizza. Perhaps not in this particular picture though.

Yeah. Actually, I think this is the image that fixed that association (Io = old pizza) in my mind:

I can make out cheese topping. olives (green and black), and some onion. Maybe some bell pepper too.

Denny's picture (top) is sort of a bizarre mixture of Easter colours. Perhaps its a bit of pizza that has lain hidden from sight under the chesterfield since last Easter .... :boggle:

Several times the size, and temperature, of any on Earth. Sulfur too. Don't think it'd smell at all nice. If you're a volcanologist then Io has got to be among the most interesting things in the known universe.
