the March on Washington, January 27th
As per FJohnSharp's suggestion in this thread:
http://chiffboard.mati.ca/viewtopic.php ... 1&start=15
I am asking if anybody besides me is going to Washington, DC, next Saturday, January 27th to participate in "Stop the War: March on Washington" march? ( http://www.unitedforpeace.org/ )
As FJohnSharp suggested, I want to ask that nobody comment politically (or "spout off" in his words), since I'm just curious who all is or possibly may be attending, because perhaps we might be able meet or march together or something.
I myself am only going to be in town for less than a whole day, so if I can't meet maybe others who will be going can meet instead...

The difference this time is that there are already so many great songs written for the occassion.
What a field day for the heat
A thousand people in the street
Singing songs, and they're carrying signs
Mostly saying, "Hooray for our side!"
I think its time we ....

I'd rather be atop the foothills than beneath them.

I shall. I am going to take notes. I would take pictures but my digital camera, after nearly 5 years of (ab)use, finally died and there's no way I can get a new one. I don't feel comfortable borrowing my friend's and taking it so far away.tansy wrote:Cranberry, please chronical it all, and give us your thoughts on what went on and what you saw.
