That old guitar stand seems iffy,... and does the mando player really have three legs?? ... they all look so serious! And in line... what's with you people? Oh. wait, one of them is teathered to the line... ahh...

:D (ducking)

so... who's who? I couldn't make out any stripes on any of the shirts.

edit to indicate that mando is not mondo... back to your lives, citizens.

I love the Star Trek ‘visit to Earth’s past’ sort of quality that Irish music has when it shows up at Renaissance Faires. None of the instruments or music their playing came into existence for another couple of hundred years. And of course the guitars and bodhrans didn’t get included until the 20th Century.

He is the one on the left with the fiddle.
I claim the one million dollar prize.
Played banjo as it only had five strings, so how the hell am I going to cope with six holes?

No. I can't spot him. You must prove to me that he's there.

The one with the guitar closest to the camera is the self-proclaimed "Evil Moderator Dude."

I thought Evil Dude was a baldy! I am sooo confused.

PS. I am so glad I don't go to RenFairs anymore.
How do you prepare for the end of the world?

No, that guy's not shaped right either. It's gotta be someone in the audience.

Tell us something.: Been a fluter, citternist, and uilleann piper; committed now to the way of the harp.

Oh, yeah: also a mod here, not a spammer. A matter of opinion, perhaps.

It's the Modergator, all right. 'Twas back in the day. First time I've seen archival pix of him without GHBs, though.

I'm guessing the Renaissance had only been over for a couple of years when that picture was taken.

Some people still haven't figured that out. Had some RenFesty types come to a session, once, puffy shirts, knee-high boots, bodices, snoods, silk scarves dangling from belts, and everything. And the Faire had been long closed for the season. Whatever sort of drag trips yer trigger, I suppose.

Were there any horse-tails?
(because, as we all know, horse-tails were a de rigeur piece of every well-clad peasant's get up.)
