Birth Announcement
Hi all,
Well, as some of you already know, Eoghan Francis arrived at 10:25 am on his due date of December 15th! He was 7 lbs. 8 oz. with blond hair like his dad.
Since then he has been acting like a true musician and keeping us up all night making noise. Last night he experienced his first session when a few friends came by to visit and play tunes. (He slept through the whole thing.)
I'l try and post pics at some point...he is a cutie pie.
Justine

Justine,
Congratulations to all involved. Will he be playing bodhran, accordian, or recorder? Have you readjusted your u-pipes fittings?
He was born 8 days ago. Hopefully, his pics won't be high school graduation...

Just let it end there and steer dear Eoghan away from the shaker egg.
Happy days, Justine.

BTW - sleeping is a fairly common neonate's defensive response to over-stimulation.

Congratulations!
That's pronounced 'maracas'. And with his first session under his belt at such an early age, I'm betting he'll tackle anything musical he can get his chubby l'il hands on.
I'm predicting that at 3 months he'll be cooing along at sessions, at 7 months he'll be thumping along on the world-famous upside-down-butter-tub-bongos, by 2 he'll have mastered the spoons and be working a Ukelele like a pro. $10 says that at 3 he'll be insisting on packing an instrument for overnighters at the grandparents house.

I wonder if that would explain my cat often zonking out when I practice the pipes.dfernandez77 wrote:BTW - sleeping is a fairly common neonate's defensive response to over-stimulation.
