I read about this the other day. They are hoping it will make people forget how unhealthy KFC is for you and bolster their flagging sales in all parts of the world except China. Also notice that the colonel is no longer wearing his white jacket but a red apron. KFC thought this a significant update. :boggle:

I remember a science fiction story where two alien juvenile delinquents went back in time and scuplted the earth's continents to a particular shape.
When Earth finally met the Alien Federation, and the image of the Earth was displayed to the assembly, the information that the continents displayed was so upsetting that the Earth was instantly vapourised, by unanimous vote.

Hope that Colonel Sanders doesn't look offensive to anybody out there...

(and how would they know which way up he should be?)

Hey... (grabs calculator, puncheds in acreage, times monthly bilboard rates, plus added value from newsworthiness netting free publicity on top, less drive by gawker's damage, and taking off price of plowing, planting, and new brush-hog...) hmmm... I've got a few acres I could clear-cut...

-Perhaps its like the Mars face -a geological feature resembling a face only when viewed at poor resolution and from an odd angle.
-Excuse me please, I have a sudden urge for chicken...

Tell us something.: Longtime member of Chiff and Fipple. I own/have owned more whistles than a person should, I think. But I’m not complaining.

My worry is that aliens might mistake this as Burl Ives -- a symbol of pleasant, welcoming folk music. Imagine their surprize and anger when they discover what it's really about.

Oh, yeah: also a mod here, not a spammer. A matter of opinion, perhaps.

They already have, no doubt, although I find it curious that no mention has been made, to say nothing of outrage over it:

I imagine they look something like this:

Hmmm...
