I thought he made a great Dracula, too. Somehow the idea that he'd bite your neck and suck your blood was . . . believable.

A very interesting fellow. I assume you saw an extended obit, mentioning his career of being a poet, painter, boxer, and even sportswriter for the SF Chronicle! I won't say Renaissance Man, but he was multi-talented to be sure.
