Very few people ever spell Screeeech!!! correctly when mentioning me in what they write on the forum (posts?).
Usually it's just Screech, but as i can't be bothered to write Screeeech!!! to correct them i suppose i can't really expect them to write Screeeech!!! either.
It's even worse when i'm away and have to log in on another computer cause i can't remember how i spelled Screeeech!!! in the first place. Usually i try Screeech!!! or Screeech!!!! or many other combinations of e's and !'s. Always to no avail until i get the correct amount as in Screeeech!!! 4 e's and 3 !'s
But as i'm not an advance AI program like Tal' none of it really matters.
Is it ok to use Tal' with the ' signifying that i recognise your longer name but can't be bothered to type it all out? You could adjust your AI program to recognise Tal' as well and therefore there shouldn't be much of a problem in future. That is assuming (which, i accept, is a bold thing to do in this instance) that you have sufficient AI to adjust your programming to recognise Tal', Tal'?

- Tell us something.: I used to be a regular then I took up the bassoon. Bassoons don't have a lot of chiff. Not really, I have always been a drummer, and my C&F years were when I was a little tired of the drums. Now I'm back playing drums. I mist the C&F years, though.

It seems to have escaped The Great Bifurcation by skulking in the lower levels of the Whistle forum until the mods were busy sorting laundry.

easily identify it. Was this because Shree Talasiga Ji knew the
bifurcation was coming and wanted to sneak this topic in under the
wire? Almost certainly.
Or maybe he just forgot.
Anyway, I'm sure The Great and Powerful Talasiga's intent as he
bumped this thread was actually to bring this glaring miscatagorization
to the fore, so that it could be rectified. That, or he's thumbing his
beak at us.

Since this is a resurrection of an old thread, I think we all should take advantage of this opportunity to expound on any changes in preferred names that have transpired since the original posts.
As for gonzo, he has been promoted and can now be referred to as Gonzo CMXIV, Bishop of Rome, Vicar of Christ, Successor of the Prince of the Apostles, Supreme Pontiff of the Universal Church, Primate of Italy, Archbishop and Metropolitan of the Roman province, Sovereign of the State of the Vatican City, Servant of the Servants of God, Slayer of Falsehoods, Enemy of Republicans, Protector of Constipated Virgins, Consumer of Fine Wines, Interlocutor Kansiensis, Loyal American, Fine Family Man, and All-round Pretentious basmati.
Or you can also use his street name -- "g-spot."

- Tell us something.: "Tell us something" hits me a bit like someone asking me to tell a joke. I can always think of a hundred of them until someone asks me for one. You know how it is. Right now, I can't think of "something" to tell you. But I have to use at least 100 characters to inform you of that.

One of the cleverer posts LAST YEAR in this thread.dfernandez77 wrote:Talasiga is actually a posting bot (artificial intelligence robot reply program) from the Sonorous Forum Bot Company, LLC of Fiji.izzarina wrote: Hey, TALASIGA, do you ever sleep?
Talasiga is asking for you to use the full name as it is much easier for the program to distinguish than "tal." "Tal" could be part of many simple phrases like, for example, "accidental" wit, or "monumental ego." Whereas "Talasiga" is unlikely to be created from any combination of common English words.
Therefore, the lumbering witless program can find forum entries (not posts, for crisakes) in which it has been addressed. Thereafter a response is crafted from a virtual cauldron of phrase snippets from various philosophy and music theory textbooks.
I for one am enthralled by the artful technology that is Talasiga. Hereinafter I will refrain from straining the string parsing subroutine that invokes Talasiga, and use the full name/variable as requested.
Maybe Dizzy Izzy could do a bit better this year.
