Yes, well, back to the topic at hand (maybe). My dad thinks it could be a basket stinkhorn, although I seriously doubt it. Frist of all, they're not supposed to grow anywhere near that far north. Second, I'm sure you would have mentioned it if your mushrooms were doing something cool like this:

mushrooms are pretty interesting...
Usually cant find any growing wild 'round where I live locally, but then again, I've never bothered to look and see what there is.

I've never had morels before, but after looking at the 'shroom expert thjingy-djingy I'm gonig to look up a local expert and see what up.

Wow, you're right. Those are way cool 'shrooms. I've never seen anything like that yellow net around the stem.
