Well???
Listen to me young fellow, what need is there for fish to sing when i can roar and bellow?
That and the fact that you're still only at 999. A lot could happen between now and then.gonzo914 wrote:It was decided that the presentation should wait until you had recovered from your weekend, the thought being that you'd be less likely to puke on it.
Any special requests for your celebratory dinner? There's some leftover pasta . . .

No... to the Hundred Posters' Waiting Room. It would seem a bit odd for a 999-poster to be given a key to the Thousand-Posters' Lounge. In the past, the Hundred Posters' Waiting Room wasn't kept locked, but I've heard that the moderators had a meeting, and after an all night session, and drinking 4 gallons of Dr. Pig (Piggly Wiggly's version of Dr. Pepper), some, shall we say, unusual policy changes were made.Martin Milner wrote:to the Thousand-Poster's lounge?Walden wrote:It's lying in the Hundred-Posters' Waiting Room... weren't you given a key?flanum wrote:Where is my Smoking Jacket???

Smoking jacket indeed...
I thought you had to have something like 3000 to get the jacket nowadays...

That's due to inflation. Forecasters are split as to whether there's a posting bubble which will eventually burst, resulting in 1000-post smoking jackets again, or a sustainable posting increase which will eventually drive the low-count poster out of the smoking jacket market altogether.Tyler Morris wrote:I thought you had to have something like 3000 to get the jacket nowadays...
And I just realized that I blew by 4000 posts without anyone (including myself) noticing.
