Tell us something.: You just slip out the back, Jack
Make a new plan, Stan
You don't need to be coy, Roy
Just get yourself free
Hop on the bus, Gus
You don't need to discuss much
Just drop off the key, Lee
And get yourself free

Anyhoo, I'm just gonna follow the rules, and occasionally poke a bit of fun at pomposity, where I deem it warranted. If Dale sees fit to kick me off for that, I'll go quietly. Otherwise, hey, get used to it. I don't flame, and if you try to pick a fight with me, be prepared to get laughed at. It's a lot more fun!

Cheers,
Bill Whedon

Well fair enough Bill, and don't get offended when I laugh at anyone who calls himself a whistle maker and former silversmith when he can't even drill 6 holes in a strait line, LOL!!!

Well, I guess we've solved all that then haven't we

Loren "Crochety geezer, God Almighty of nothing except grouchiness!"

Aaaaarrrrgh! Hey, Paul! Thanks a lot for letting that particular cat out of the bag!

Loren, believe me, I know! And one of the first things I did on my spiffy new milling machine, was a gang-drill guide for C and D high whistles. How embarrassing! (blush!)

I don't mind havin' fun poked at me - buddy, I know I'm silly as, if not sillier than, anyone else around me!

Seriously, I do try to listen to people and behave reasonably. There is quite enough real evil in this world, without my adding to the sorrow and discomfort of others. I am by no means perfect at it, but I try, and when I perceive that I might have done harm to someone else, I am the first to castigate myself for insensitivity.

Finally, as you suggest, I will definitely try to contribute positive things to the board, in addition to simply asking questions and making comments about what others are doing. I'm very new at this, and uncertain just what to contribute, and when, so please don't be offended if I sound kind of stupid from time to time. Just tell me I'm an eedjit, tell me what I shoulda said, and I'll eventually figure it out!

All the best,
Bill Whedon

How the bluddy hell do you turn off the automatic posting of the bluddy .signature??

Well now all that's sorted out, could someone tell me how to post a photo?

I'm still smitten with the girl on the Herb Alpert album cover, she adds a whole new layer of meaning to the term "Chantilly lace" (should I explain for transponders that Crème Chantilly is whipped - ooh! - cream with added fine-ground sugar?).
