about death via asteroid. In fact, the way the ice caps are going, He
might want to hurry up with that asteroid lest He break His divine
promise to Noah.
the Bible wrote: Rev. 8:8-11 (NKJV)
Then the second angel sounded: And something like a great mountain burning with fire was thrown into the sea, and a third of the sea became blood. And a third of the living creatures in the sea died, and a third of the ships were destroyed.
Then the third angel sounded: And a great star fell from heaven, burning like a torch, and it fell on a third of the rivers and on the springs of water. The name of the star is Wormwood. A third of the waters became wormwood, and many men died from the water, because it was made bitter.

SOME say the world will end in fire,
Some say in ice.
From what I’ve tasted of desire
I hold with those who favor fire.
But if it had to perish twice,
I think I know enough of hate
To know that for destruction ice
Is also great
And would suffice.
Robert Frost.
Oh, wait, wrong thread! Hang on, is it?
Argh! My head is literally spinning....

Most of those asteroids are the size of baseballs or less, just so you know. There aren't many asteroids in this part of the solar system that are large enough to survive a trip through our atmosphere, much less cause a destructive impact.
