You're very welcome folks. I'm sorry for the mail delays too. The postmistress says to expect a week, and not unusual for 2 weeks. I thought it was suppose to be 4 days..
Even though it's a book, may I suggest to play the tunes you pick, into a tape recorder, shut the book, and then learn them with the ears..

Lesl's work is wonderfully thorough. The tunes are double indexed: an index of tune titles, and then also an ABC index so you can say, "Gee, what's the name of the one that starts with dum-diddle deedle dee?" and find it right away.
It's interesting how many variations there are on some of these tunes, and how attached one becomes to playing a certain version. There are quite a few whose A part I recognize, and the B part goes somewhere different than I've ever been before.

I'm Sooo glad mine came in time for the long weekend. I've gone through a couple dozen jigs this evening and am having a blast. I've set my sights low for this weekend: rack beer, make beer, make bread, play tunes from this book.
What Lesl said about delivery time is absolutely correct. Mine was postmarked 18 days ago, and I live less than 200 miles from her. The package looked like it had been through a war, but the book itself is in fine shape.

Lesl has done a lovely job, this book is worth every penny.
Hey Lesl, when are you gonna give us volume 2? I'm guessing you are close to having another 300 from him by now
Put me down for one.
All the best,
Tom
