Tell us something.: Long ago, I was told that I faked iTrad whistle work very well. I took that comment to heart. 20 years of private lessons - and many, many hours of rehearsal later - I certainly hope I have improved...

I really do not know. Speaking for myself, it could've been the rumors my infamous and somewhat noxious BO. :D

We had a brilliant wedding in Miami and lovely honeymoon down at Key West, then a couple of days in NYC to sort out a visa for Beth to live in the UK, luckily flying out just before the blizzard hit. The trip had a few stressful moments (getting the rental car spattered with concrete to mention just one), but we share our problems and they never seem so bad then.

Now back in drizzly London where we will live for now, with plans to visit the USA regularly.

As you can see in the pictures, I'm a very happy guy. Those of you who know Beth well will know how lucky I feel! :D
Congrats to you and Beth....
Martin, from the picture it looks like you were on Miami Beach... I'm only 6 or 7 miles away.
Next time if you pass this way again, give me a shout!

Miami Beach it was, Winterhaven Hotel on Ocean Drive. Sorry we didn't get to meet up, Tony, I had forgotten you were in the neighbourhood (hint: update your profile!).

We actually had a pretty hectic time running around in the car chauffeuring people to airports and bus stations, arranging flowers, ice-cream cakes etc, but we'd have loved to hook up for an evening. Beth had a local concertina maker trying to get us to pop round but we never had time to breathe, so we never got there either.

I'm not sure we'll be back at Miami Beach, but we loved Key West and want to go back there for a longer holiday. Too many things either went wrong or needed regular adjustment for us to fall in love with Miami Beach itself.
