Go Mick!!!

He and the boys looked and sounded great!

If we're all prancing around like him when we're his age :o

I have never watched a super bowl or a half time. Surely I'm not the only one...

I watched the halftime show at a friend's house on a big screen high definition TV and nearly died from the pleasure. A KICK.

I missed most of the halftime show...it's been a busy day here trying to get all of the pizza, wings, etc. all done for the crew. It's now the beginning of the 4th quarter, and I'm sure that the Seahawks are going to pull out ahead, because my son is their biggest fan :P

GO SEAHAWKS!

Nobody thinks Mick was a little yelly and off-key? No? Ok then.
I still liked them.

He did look in great shape, and as far as I could tell, hasn't lost his stuff. Good show.

I'd read somewhere that the producers of the half-time show were recruiting people to be in the "stage audience" as part of the overall show.
But there were age limits placed on those who could participate... between the ages of 18 and 45.

Which means that old Mick and the boys would be way over the age limit.

And does anyone else think it weird (or sad?) that the game was held in Motown, and the halftime show consisted of a band from England?

Granted, they had Stevie Wonder before the game, but who's watching then?

Nope.

Most of the people in the world have never watched a super bowl or a half time.

World Cup final - now that's a different story.

It was quite the party all week long! My city, Windsor, was co-host with Detroit for the SuperBowl! Hundreds of events, parties and thousands of tourists in the city for the weekend. A historic international event, that no other city in Canada can claim!

The NFL organisation held their main party, a $500.00 a ticket event, one block from were I live, in the old armouries.

There were more blacked out limo's on our streets, than one could count. the Rolling Stones, plus other celebs stayed at Casino Windsor. In normal times, I'm only fifteen minutes from Ford Field but the security was unbelievable even for this side of the river!

I volunteered to be a event host at several functions here in Windsor. Got to here Doug Flutie's band, with Jeff Daniels sitting in on guitar. That was a blast!

Wasn't it a party!

I watched ONLY the halftime show and the Stones rocked!
They were in Albany a while back and I didn't want to pop for $100ish tickets, so this was the next best thing.

I actually agree with you emm...
I personally think they've lost their edge, or quite a bit of it at any rate.
And I wish Jagger had kept his arms covered...looked like he was smuggling bread dough! :P

Well, as I said, I enjoyed seeing them. They had plenty of energy, and I imagine that half-time at the Superbowl is not the easiest time and place to display the subtleties of vocal control.

As for that...I thought he looked darn good for a 61 yr old in a tank, but then I probably have a thing for oldsters. (being rapidly headed that direction.)
