Someone Pinch Me...My Wife Had a Compliment!

Post by KDMARTINKY »

After about 30 minutes between playing my low whistle and the UPs. I tied the UPs back on and since Christmas is around the corner...I pulled out my seasonal tunes and at my first attempt on the UPs. I started with Baloo Lammy...it sound great if I say so.....but wait, my wife walked in the sunroom and thought it sounded good also..... :)

My first compliment....what a motivator it can be!

No slight to your playing, I'm sure it sounded great and the compliment was well earned....but get ready to shell out the green stuff for something.

If it's a KitchenAid Mixer, by all means lash out for one. You'll both benefit. You may need a longer strap for your bellows, though.

My wife says that my UP music moves her.

...yeah, it moves her....

... to the other room, or out of the house to the backyard.

Well, that lets out all us female pipers, eh? Perhaps this calls for a club of one's own...Sisterhood of the Uilleann Pipes?

SUP? I like it.

Altlhough I strongly support KD's wife's getting a Kitchen Aid mixer.
