I'm a rather new player to the pennywhistle and, like you, I absolutely love the song that Picard plays in The Inner Light. I was wondering if anyone out there had the sheet music or chords to that song. While I'm at it, I'm also looking for the music to Greensleeves. I'm not a naturally talented musician, so I really can't listen to the song and play it by ear, so I'd appreciate the help.
Oh, and I have a C whistle. I read the thread where it is established that Stewart used a D, so I also need to know if it's even possible to play the song on my whistle.
Thanks!
Question for those that are experts on the "Ressikan flute"
Hi, Revanche. . .the Ressikan flute tune, Inner Light, has been posted here, I think. Try doing a search and seeing what comes up.
You can play this tune on whatever whistle; you just can't necessarily play it with the TV show.
I'll look through my files to see if I can find it, though.

Edit - if you;re not familiar with whistle notaion, the six letters represent the whistle holes. The top of the whistle is to the left. An X is a closed hole and a O is an open one. A + means it is in the second octave.

I have the sheet music and will send it to you via file once you have accepted me on ICQ.
I play it all the time on a B cane whistle and it sound beautiful (to me, anyways). You can listen to it here:

I recorded this snip of it when I was first learning the whistle fingerings, so it sounds a bit rough... Also, I've found that Yahoo connections sound better if you let it play through once, and then play it again.
