UPs Vol. 1

Post by KDMARTINKY »

You were all right on when you guys advised me to get my hands on this video. It is absolutely fantastic....now i know I need to go see "Glands" and I need to attend every Tionel that I can, but until then this video will definitly keep me busy.

I also took a peak at NPs Vol. II...LOL.....It will be years before I will need to put back in the VCR.....

Thanks for the advice.
Keith

Hey...did somebody mentione me? My ears were burning. Keith, the climate has finally changed in our part of this great land. If the reed in your chanter gets funky come see me before making any adjustments on your own. Eight years ago, when I was new to this pipering stuff, I ruined what were probably four good reeds supplied by the maker of my first half set.

Lewis:

The reed is working well and is actually in tune with the UPs Vol. I tunes. I won't be doing any adjustments...I will leave this to the experts.....

In tune today. These precious little reeds change hour-to-hour. When you get to a tionól, be sure and spend sometime at a reed workshop. Knowing how to make tiny little tweaks with the bridle will really help when it does become neccesary to do something.
