I understand about the kitty! And I understand what you want to do. Your title is very clear. And what you just told me makes the rest clear.
A lot of the time, the seller will say "Make me an offer"---that is where I got confused. I'm not sure what the buyer (you) says---maybe "What are you asking?". I never buy or sell things obviously. Okay, best to just ignore all this.
