A good vibes request

Post by chas »

The daughter of one of my closest friends has recently found out that the bone-marrow transplant didn't get all of her leukemia. She's 31 years old and has a two-year-old son. I'm not sure of her odds of long-term survival, but they're very low.

Any prayers, rituals, good vibes, or whatever, that you can send her way will be greatly appreciated.

Thankx, Charlie

Will do. Good vibes are headed her way.

(Oh great. Now I've got the Beach Boys' Good Vibrations going through my head. Thanks a lot, Chas.)

Whenever I start to feel alone and sorry for myself I am reminded of people who are in the same boat or worse off than me. These are truly humbling (sorry but I can't think of the word). My ggod thoughts go out to this young lady, her son and all who are close to her. I wish them strength, good friends, and inner peace during this difficult time. You sound like someone they can lean on, Charlie. For that I know they will be forever grateful.

I'll add chas' to my list of cancer prayers. Both my Aunt and Uncle have recently been diagnosed with cancer.
