Break out the party hats - I think my dissertation is done!

Post by avanutria »

I'm gonna let it sit for a couple of days and then reread it, and have some people proofread next week, but other than that, my master's dissertation is done! 9,455 words, 34 pages, 13 library books, and a heck of a lot of time sitting at the dining room table with my laptop.

To forestall the inevitable questions, the degree is in Linguistics and the topic is autism/asperger's syndrome and how the linguistic concepts called Theory of Mind and Relevance Theory might account for some of the pragmatic difficulties that autistic people have.

Now I can FINALLY start on Harry Potter :D

Congrats, good to see more research on Asperger's syndrome. My son
was diagnosed with Asperger's about 5 years ago, and there was not a
lot of information available at that time.

Good luck

I would have hidden the copy of HP6 in the cupboard under the stairs, but the spiders might have got to it by now.

Well done Beth!
