Tell us something.: This is the first sentence. This is the second of the recommended sentences intended to thwart spam its. This is a third, bonus sentence!

I posted my age in another thread.
I wonder if the fact that most of us are in our 40s and 50s indicates that persons of that age bracket have no real social life.
I'm no longer trying a new posting paradigm

-How old are we? We are not amused.

-Despite Betty Friedan's observation that age brings with it a wealth of non-monetary riches (true!)-I wanna be 11.5 years old again and stay up late getting into mischief in the sure and certain belief this puts mortality & fate on the ropes and the universe at my feet. Thomas Jefferson said something to the effect he would love to have life to live over again, but no sane person would wish to repeat the years between 17 and 24. I concur.

It is true that it is the mileage...
... but were was the driving?

I know people that knew more about people than I hope to, but couldn't balance a check book. Others knew things about global affairs, but couldn't keep a relationship stable. Others were financially stable but didn't know anything about the world other than exchange rates. Maturity is strange in that way, it has different levels.

PS I like the mileage more than the years. If you are not traveling, then you are just sitting and waiting for death.

Some folks live and do more by a younger age than most do in an entire lifetime. Thinking in terms of mileage is the best way I have to describe it. :D
