You think that's bad - I hear they've developed a new hairless haggis, so they can be kept in even more cramped conditions without overheating, and to save time shaving them before they're boiled whole for eating. Everyone knows the wild mountain haggis has quite a shaggy coat to keep it warm in the thin mountain air, now they want them bald!On 2002-05-27 11:02, gonzo914 wrote:
1. Corporate haggis farming -- This really disgusts me, and I'm surprised PETA has not taken a stronger stance on the issue. The thought of all those poor little haggisses crammed in their pens shoulder to shoulder without enough room to even turn around just makes my gorge to rise. The haggis was meant to run free, and to deny it its basic freedom, indeed, to deny it the very warmth of the sun and the feeling of the wind blowing through its long, silky fur is most inhumane and cruel. I don't have a problem with free-range haggis, but please, don't buy corporate-farmed haggis.
Stand up for Hairy Haggis rights!
No more Haggis hair coats!
It don't mean a thing if it ain't got that schwing

Phil, I thought YOU changed the post title. I thought you were the only one who could, since you were the original poster. Guess it just shows how much I know.
Let's just all cool down before "It's Sickening II" rears it's ugly head.
I'm just kidding, of course.

I sing the birdie tune
It makes the birdies swoon
It sends them to the moon
Just like a big balloon

If my tired brain remembers right, the temporary name was "It's Not So Sickening" (or was it "It's Not All That Sickening"?)... or something like that.
It was late at night, I was enjoying oreo cookies and some milk while browsing the forum, glanced at the new title and nearly snorted milk through my nose. I thought it was funny, and though I like the original name, I thought the temporary name was more descriptive of what this thread has become. Or maybe upon reflection, it really is sickening....
(Note: Eating and browsing this website simultaneously may be hazardous to your health and is not recommended.) Wasn't there someone else a while back who nearly choked while reading this site and eating?
So is there, like, a world record out there for the longest message board thread? Maybe we could qualify.

'I wish it need not have happend in my time,' said Frodo.
'So do I,' said Gandalf, 'and so do all who live to see such times. But that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given us.'
