Cork-board and thumb-tack.
It needs to be online somehow. Usually you upload from your computer onto storage provided by your ISP, or onto a free photo service such as snapfish or yahoo photos.(still free I guess?) You link to it from there.
(Better yet--do what Dub said.)

Yeah, that might hold better than a thumb-tack.

Well, I can't get my Yahoo dsl to tell me how to post pictures and I can't remember my Photobucket account so I guess I have to make it my avatar.
That's me. Unfortunately you won't be able to see the magnificent picture I took of my right nostril.
Oh, and Joseph Smith and Dub, you're both quite distinguished chaps.
Cran, I see nothing wrong with your fifteen year old pics. I thought your hair would be longer.
I'm no longer trying a new posting paradigm

The guy with the gray hair and a granddaughter on his lap in my avatar to the left is me. I don't play as well as I seem to be doing in the photo. Also, Maggie was there with her plastic recorder for all of 23 seconds before she was off to the next adventure, just long enough for grandma to grab her camera. As I said in the other thread, I like having a face to associate with the letters.

The shirt's from a comic strip, PVP Online..it's pretty funny. Here's the strip that the shirt refers to:
