You can also find it searching for the MIDI file. There are lots of TV theme MIDI sites around. I search for the MIDI of a song I want, open it with Cakewalk Score Writer, and transpose it to the key I want, and print it.

Someone on this board made a comment about 'Gilligan's' a few weeks ago, and because of that, my band now inserts 'Gilligan's' into a medley with Cooley's Reel. If done well, one tune slides into the other, and the audiences we play for, love it...You might try the two together...E minor is a good key for both. The D whistle works well...
Cheers.

I realize this is fingering. But can anyone put this in abcformat? Or would that be a copywrite issue?
On a lighter note.... all of those xxx and ooo s lookes like hugs and kisses to me.
Is Cooley's Reel the same a Dooley's Reel?

No. One could get in just as much copyright trouble for posting the fingering tablatures (xxxooo, etc.) as for posting an abc file.
Actually, I suggest you take Gary's suggestion to find the MIDI file. Then open it in a shareware music program (get the program from zdnet.com or some such site), then just save it as an abc file.

Thanks, brewerpaul, for the Cooley's/Gilligan idea... My band and I salute you. That medley has entertained a lot of audiences...Also thank you for the Drunken Sailor thought...If you have any other of these oddities in your mind, don't hesitate to share - either on this board, or by e-mail.
Cheers.
