Seven Years of Listening - 2004 SCUPC Tionól Concert CD

Post by Patrick D'Arcy »

[Dale, I hope this is within the realm?]

A double CD set is now available of the 2004 SCUPC Tionól concert. Musicians featured are Mick O'Brien, Caoimhín Ó Raghallaigh, Benedict Koehler, Pat D'Arcy & Kynch O'Kaine. The set is listed at $20 plus shipping. All proceeds go directly to the Southern California Uilleann Pipers Club.

The CD's capture the evenings events perfectly and include all the banter and play between performers and audience.

PM me to get a copy.

Thanks,

Patrick.

Looks very tempting ....
What about shipping abroad? Are credit cards (MasterCard) welcome?
Tickety-boo, Thies

P.S.: I meant not that I will send you my credit card for further usage (there's not much money to get anyway) ... but more if I can pay by credit card.

I take it you have the musicians permission to sell that cd?
I'm asking because i saw someone sell tionol cds once and it pissed quite some people off because they were on there but were never asked if it was ok.
Those cds were actually sold for a personal profit too.. 0_o

Just to save you from probable flying pipes bits in your direction Patrick.. :D

I loaded up my iPod with this 2 CD set and am in piping heaven. It is a great recording of a very magical night. I highly recommend it.

Kudos to the club and in particular, Michael Eskin, for creating this great recording.

There doesn't seem to be any way to pay for this. There is no response from UilleannObsession.

Some of us have to sleep you know ;)

I think all other questions were answered. Mick & Caoimhín get paid after the first million are sold - like all good recording contracts ;)

All profits made from this go towards hosting our tionóil in Southern California.... no simple task - but an incredibly enjoyable one :) There is no personal gain at all. Everyone involved donated their time and energy and now we have a wonderful double CD to add to our music collections!

Thanks Michael for adding the clip.... now I have three full time jobs ;)

I am answering your emails in order. There are quite a few so please be patient. Thanks to everyone for your interest.

Patrick.
