I hope you mean Generation whistles and not generations of dogs or fleas or something...

20 some years ago I got my first whistle, a red-headed Gen D, which later disappeared somewhere in the process of clearing out baby/toddler toys. Silly, but there were other things on my mind at the time.
Have amassed a small collection in the past several years, starting with a Clarke, but no Generations!

Sorry if I've skewed the sample.

I think the categories are slightly extreme to show any statistical significance.

I've got three. One Blue Top, a Red Top Bb and a Jerry Tweaked Red Top. I'm waiting on another Tweaked from Jerry. The Blue Top has had the blue tac treatment and plays remarkably well. Of course the Jerry Tweaked Red Top is one of my favorite whistles.

Tell us something.: I play whistles. I sell whistles. This seems just a BIT excessive to the cause. A sentence or two is WAY less than 100 characters.

I own 2 that I bought in a small music shop in Killarney last summer.

A nickel F whistle which is nice for playing marches.

A nickel Bb which reminds me of trying to get a tune from a pop bottle.

I have at least 13. I have all 6 keys in both brass and nickel. I also have at least one other that I carry in my case with other favorites. The one in my case is untweaked and plays wonderfully. The set includes some tweaked and some untweaked.

Ten.
Brass: G,F,Eb,D,C,Bb.

Nickel:Eb,D,C,Bb.

My favourites are the brass 'D' (circa 1979)with 'old style' mouthpiece and the brass Bb.

I must try out the chrome Bb again-I forgot that I had it!.

And there's no option for 'I don't vote in polls'. ;-)

I was going to complain about that, but then I realized that if I were to vote that I don't vote in polls, I would be contributing to the poll anyway. Oh well.
As for the question, I don't have any Generations. It's sad, but true. I have never even played one.

But I guess you gotta filter out the spambots.

Seven I think. I've got some in the house and a couple in cars. Its hard to keep track because I tend to loan/give them out and then buy more when I see them in a shop at a decent price. They're my lay around - pick up an play whistles.
