I've had trouble getting to the Cavallero web page wth flute bags...Would like the link, please, and would like to know what model bag is best for a Copley keyless D flute..Thanks.

The dimensions are here (click). One of the baroque flute or recorder rolls should fit. I think the one i have (from Hammy Hamilton) is a tenor recorder roll.

I saw Cavallaro at the NAMM show. I have been dealing and using www.mooradian.com bags for over 15 years now as a professsional musician. they are FAR superior to the Cavallaro. Peter Hoffman will build you any bag you like. Check out my Tina/Uilleann bag on the Uilleann part of this site. Just an amazing bag.

Just curious, in what way(s) did they seem far superior? Materials, Craftsmanship (hard to imagine since it's only a few pieces of material sticthed together, and the Cav bags are well made), Features? I'm always looking for something better, but looking at the acoustic guitar bags on that site, and comparing the materials and features listed to other stuff on the market for guitars, Peter's stuff seems.....well, there's much better stuff out there.
I'm not knocking his stuff, just wondering if you could share with us what makes the flute bags particularly nice, since we can't view any on the site.
