That's funny. You know, sometimes LOL is used a bit too liberally, but I actually did make noise as I laughed at this post.

That would be the stainless steel police one, which my great-grandmother, at age 90, demonstrated to the entire family as she marched up and down the hall when we were all trying to go to bed. That was many years ago. I wonder what happened to it?

I think this is a good time to ask what C&F's policy is towards on-topic threads.

I saw this thread and I didn't know WHERE I was. :boggle: Seriously.

Then I saw BB's thread and realized it was the OT Zone. I expected to hear Rod Serlings voice as I typed this . . .

:D I hate whistles, I hate whistles, I hate whistles :D
they are so screechy, they hurt my ears.

This is cool, it's a place of freedom, we can post any nonsense here without feeling guilty. Let's start a big OT-party! Get your recorders out and play a few polkas.
:P It's partytime in the whistlefree zone! :P

So, uh, if we post on topic , we use OT,and if we post off topic, we use OT too?
This new division in the forum is looking more and more like Iraq. I don't trust that poll we had either. How much have we spent on the new section of the forum? 100 billion? 200 billion?
My opinion is stupid and wrong.

Tell us something.: I used to be a regular then I took up the bassoon. Bassoons don't have a lot of chiff. Not really, I have always been a drummer, and my C&F years were when I was a little tired of the drums. Now I'm back playing drums. I mist the C&F years, though.

I like Lauren Bacall's whistle in 'To Have and Have Not'
"Meon an phobail a thogail trid an chultur"
(The people’s spirit is raised through culture)

I'm kinda partial to the 'wolf's call' whistle...... though it has left me with a few (... and perhaps well deserved) scars. :D
