Someone could certainly buy a lot of bread with that kind of dough!

Hmm, on last night's news it was reported that Ebay pulled this auction, when the bid was about 22K. I guess it's back then?

Ha! Ha! Ha!

I wonder what Gwent Stefani's reaction would be if she heard she was being compared to the Virgin Mary? :boggle:

Funny how pictures of the virgin Mary, a young Jewish woman, almost always look like a blonde, blue-eyed Marylin Monroe or something... :) It's always made me wonder how the perpetrator...,er, I mean, discoverer recognized the image as that of Mary - gee, it really must be a miracle! :D

Cheezus, Tony...you're right. In fact, Gwen did an
album called 'No Doubt' back in '97 and the cover
looks suspiciously related to this eBay auction!

But I think the sandwich looks more like Julia Stiles.

Tell us something.: I play whistles. I sell whistles. This seems just a BIT excessive to the cause. A sentence or two is WAY less than 100 characters.

Aw, it must be one of those reverse auctions, it is already down to 20,000,100.00. I sure wanted to pay a billion dollars for this.

Exactly. What makes her so certain it's not some poor little Salem witch-girl, trying for another crack at notoriety?

If you go to the bid history some of the bids were pulled by e-bay. Currently it's at $69,107.96 with 5 days 5 hours left. For what it's worth I had grilled cheese for dinner last night. I checked both sides of my sammy but alas, there was nada. Just plain old grilled toast. Maybe I'm not spiritual enough. :D

A little hard to tell if the hair is blond on a burnt spot on a piece of toast.

Honestly, though, most pictures I've seen of the Virgin, she is wearing a head covering.

Yeah, and it's not typically made of toast.

I find the whole thing absolutely ridiculous. Why anyone would BID is beyond me. How much you want to bet that all those bids are fake?
