Happy Halloween Everybody!
Nobody's said it yet! I'm sitting on the front porch--(better Airport reception than upstairs,) and the weather's wonderful...if only the wind would stop blowing the jack-o-lanterns out.

Same to ya!
My daughter wore her costume to church today so she could go trick or treating downtown afterward. As soon as it gets dark we're going to go up to Scotts Valley to do some house to house trick or treating.
My poor hubby has been flat on his back all day with back spasms, though. Poor guy...he always has so much fun with Halloween!

Re: Happy Halloween Everybody!
Happy Halloween to you too! I actually had forgotten to a certain extent. We had Trick or Treating in our town on Thursday (couldn't have it on a Sunday it seems...Friday and Saturday were out because of HS football games, so Thursday it was), so it slipped my mind. It's beautiful here too though.

We suffered a pre-halloween (30th October) egging, because I wouldn't give some scruffy yob 50p a day early.
Yesterday Beth & I carved Wacko Jacko Lanterns & put them outside in the evening. Three kids called together during the real Halloween evening, and the pumpkin heads disappeared! Not before we recorded them for posterity though...
Sadly Halloween is not greatly recognised in the UK, so the brave trick or treaters get discouraged quickly. We figured the pumpkin heads showed we were open to callers, but after they flew, nobody else called. More candy for me!!
