Tell us something.: I've been a C&Fer since 2003. Currently playing wooden flute & (mainly low) whistles, along with the bowed dulcimer.
Location: Sonoma County, CA USA

kerrypro!

albeit knowing nothing about Phil Hardy's political leanings, could it be coincidence that he just recently began making handmade whistles again?

KERRYPRO (aka PRO-KERRY?)

p.s. I've been playing one of Phil's newer KerryPros that I got recently, which I'm really impressed with, and promised him I'd post a review, which I'll try to get around to soon enough, though I have to say I've just been a bit obsessed with my new Casey Burns folk flute, so other things have simply been on hold lately...

Non-political Whistles

Post by Phil Hardy »

I would just like to say that in my stats for the KWL site ,one of the most frequent visitors is the US Military.Either they are taking up folk music or they think I'm pushing for JK to be pres.
Please let it be put on record that I have never voted ,never had any political bias one way or the other and would never connect myself or my business with either Bush or Kerry.
The whole US political machine is geared to world domination and I feel really sorry for the people in the US for having to choose between two blatantly floored candidates and thier political parties. No class system, who are they fooling.
We have the same problem over here, thankfully my whistles don't carry the name Blair.
Bring back Billy Boy ,at least he gave us all a good laugh.
Kevin Spacey for President.
Phil.

As somebody, who never really was happy with the choices we have voting, still I'd never leave this to others, just to wash my hands on it.

So you American friends out there, please DO vote! :poke:

Claus (who loves Overtons, but just this time is "Pro Kerry") :P

People keep saying this, but I find it nowhere in the legal documents, and it seems a rather contrary statement to the Bill of Rights.

Oh, you have a right to gripe if you don't vote - you just don't have any right to be taken seriously.

And I mean that - if you don't like either of the current candidates, vote for someone you DO like - but at least make your displeasure known.

Griping about the political situation without working to change it is like griping about the quality of your playing but refusing to practice. Maybe it makes you feel better, but it doesn't really accomplish much.

Am I the only one getting the add for the "W" brand ketchup? Pretty darn funny if you ask me!
We can dance if we want to
We can leave your friends behind
Cause your friends don't dance and if they don't dance
Well they're no friends of mine.

Places not to keep your low D whistle: see "The Garden of Earthly Delights" by Hieronymus Bosch , Right inside panel, horizontal center, 2/3 from the top.
What is that 7 hole instrument on his back? An extremely low whistle?
