Feathered T-Rex
I guess it comes as no surprise that I'm not one who supposes that dinosaurs evolved from birds, or vice versa, but this recent news story made me think... man... I'm glad there's no flock o' tyrannosauri flying through the air... busting power lines and destroying things with mega droppings, and preying on... everything!

So long as men can breathe, or eyes can see,
So long lives this, and this gives life to thee.
Pay no attention to that man behind the curtain!

I'm still curious, however. While I believe that the disappearance of the Dinosaur wasn't because they all evolved into winging behemouths, the evolutionary record demonstrates that some animals were well along their way toward feathered flight, and recent fossil discovies of animals previously thought to be scaly have shown clear images of feathered aspects to their fossized anatomies....all in all, pretty cool stuff...that is, if you're in to paleontology.

While I do not support the theory of evolution, I do encourage the trashing of land rovers.emmline wrote:Time to re-release Jurassic Park, with shots of the T. Rex preening its feathers in between trashing land-rovers.
I sing the birdie tune
It makes the birdies swoon
It sends them to the moon
Just like a big balloon

- Tell us something.: I play whistles. I sell whistles. This seems just a BIT excessive to the cause. A sentence or two is WAY less than 100 characters.
Theories are for sissies.......Cranberry wrote:For a long time, I just accepted the theory of evolution as gospel (pun intended), but now I'm actually not so sure I believe in it, at least not in the same way.
I believe in the law of adaptation.
