Do you love Loretta Lynn?

Post by Jack »

I got Van Lear Rose a couple months ago and it has left my CD player only one or two times since. It's one of my favorite CDs, ever.

From googlism.com:

loretta lynn is a coal miner's daughter
loretta lynn is played by a fantastic sissy spacek
loretta lynn is a beautiful lady
loretta lynn is indeed one
loretta lynn is for evaluation purposes only
loretta lynn is available
loretta lynn is the dog that can get them squirrels
loretta lynn is rambling
loretta lynn is over

That should put any confusion to rest! ;-)

She is also Crystal Gayles sister.

Ah. Not the Loretta formerly known as Stan, then.

I had to break it to Loretta gently; I'm in love with Susan Sarandon.

Tell us something.: I play whistles. I sell whistles. This seems just a BIT excessive to the cause. A sentence or two is WAY less than 100 characters.

Susan Sarandon's ex-husband Chris, from whom she got her surname, applied my makeup when I was in Fiddler on the Roof at age 14.

way back when - in my younger days - I worked at the local amusement park. They would have entertainers in for concerts, and some of us in "merchandising and games" would be recruited to work the shlock booths.
Got to see Evil Knieval (sp?) jump over 14 buses (well, really he jumped over 13, if you get my drift).

But, I must say, the "highlight" of all these was the time I got to work 6 concerts of Loretta Lynn and Conway Twitty!! Women with hair piled up to here - men with white belts and white cowboy boots! And I grew up with and know a LOT of people from the same general area the Loretta grew up in, and I STILL couldn't understand most of what she said.

AAARRRGGGG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :o

And, will someone please explain to me why Crystal Gail doesn't have such a thick accent?????

(p.s. - I really do like country music, but if most of the stuff from the late 60's, and during the 70's would disappear, I would NOT complain!)
