If they made a movie about this guy, they should ask William Shatner to play him.

DM provided the link but I thought all should see. The flute looks like a Bozo's Flatley Flambéed.

Tell us something.: Been a fluter, citternist, and uilleann piper; committed now to the way of the harp.

Oh, yeah: also a mod here, not a spammer. A matter of opinion, perhaps.

*interlude of reasonableness*

Ok, David, I think I understand now. By "devalued currency", I referred to everyone having a copy in the future, not just myself alone. That's what I meant with that.

And now, back to your regularly scheduled slagfest.

Now I am trying to understand what he wears on the photo...I know it is supposed to be amazingly cool dress uniform of ITM during 19th century.

I sat here for a good five minutes trying to figure out which was worse--the flute or the jacket.

And then I saw that nekkid pudgy tummy.

you forgot "yet" :)

By the way I like the flute playing ... it's very well done. 't Would have sounded better without any "backgroundmusic" though.

Aw, c'mon. It goes so nicely with the Sex God costume. I wonder if he's got a flute to match the Golden Toreador look, too? Oooh, better yet, purple sequins & matching flute ensemble ....

It's all in the details, you know.

Notice the Borg implants in the aural sensorial and cheek areas, and the haircut in the style of Jude Law's character in the AI movie. I'm pretty sure this retro-futuristic costume must have accidentally been time-transported from a 1980's SciFi convention.

He clearly stole the jacket from a Dr. Who costume rack.

That look is more like Hallucinogenic Toreador.

Tell us something.: I play the first flute Jon Cochran ever made but haven't been very active on the board the last 9-10 years. Life happens I guess...I owned a keyed M&E flute for a while and I kind of miss it.

Hilarious, but good flute playing.

I am sorry about the piano player, he was the one who had the recording equiptment and he promised me a pint if I let him play...
