I think there is one that I used to listen to. But you had to have winamp to access it. Unless they have some website. But on winamp there are a couple celtic stations.

A look through the RTE Archives is always worth the effort - The Late Session,Mo Ceol Tua- and RnaG usually has some top notch trad playing and singing.

You need Real player to listen in but you can download it for free. Some of the gang around here speak ill of Real Player but I have never had any problems with it.

Here is one you might try for something a little different. You might want to brush up on your Irish.

Besides the aforementioned LiveIreland and RTE/RnaG, Celtic Melt http://www.live365.com/stations/celticmelt1 (which I'm listening to now) and Celtic Christian Tunes http://www.live365.com/stations/celticchristian_t1 are also good ones.

Here's a link to 17 Celtic Internet radio stations. And here's another link to many more stations playing Celtic music.
Hober also plays some Celtic stuff.

The best site I have found is BBC at http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio/aod/folk_promo.shtml

This gives you a list of folk shows that they have everyweek: My favorites are:

Traveling folk (Scotland)
Folk Club (mostly irtrad)
Culan (Radio ulster)
Celtic Heartbeat (from wales)

New shows every week. Most of the above are 2 hours!

Eric--WGBH radio in Boston has a 3 hour Celtic music program on Saturdays called "A Celtic Sojourn". You can hear the program anytime via their website. Try this link.

http://www.wgbh.org/schedules/program-i ... id=1838100

On the top right is a link to run the current episode. I think you can also call up the archives to hear old programs and in-studio concerts.

This is the place where I first heard about groups like Altan, Lunasa, Bothy Band, Solas, etc.
