This little gem of cinematography has been making its way around the web today. Just goes to show how well traditional music can adapt to the times...

I was making my co-workers watch it yesterday. Dang! Should have shared it with you then!

PS--it gave my friend Matt an "earworm"--a song he couldn't get out of his head.

And we American's think the Brit's have a weird sence of humor.
It sure is funny that we can laugh at ourselves like this.........
or is it sad that we don't respect anyone who is governing our
nation?

I just learned about it on the Network News tonight. Someone sent me a link earlier but it appears you need broadband to actually see it.

I don't know if its sad or not, but since being allowed to vote I've spent the better part of four decades waiting for the republicrats to offer me someone worthy of respect. Sadly, by the time an honest man or woman lies, cheats and finagles their way to the top, they're just another politician.

I saw the link on the other thread and watched it. It certainly had me laughing. My connection is with a modem and not broadband. It just took a few minutes to load.

I do not feel obliged to believe that that same God who has endowed us with sense, reason, and intellect has intended us to forgo their use.

It's a shame there is no reason to vote here in the south.
If you are a democrat, don't bother wasting the gas and time, the state is going to the Pubs, so don't bother.
If you are a republican, don't bother wasting the gas and time, the state is already going to the Pubs, so don't bother.
My opinion is stupid and wrong.

While the Vomiting Rabbit makes a true observation, I hope nobody takes his advice. Voting does make a difference because once people stop voting we will see that right go the way of many others that we have just given up on. Yeah, it may be a forgone conclusion that your state goes one way or the other, but that's the only way things MIGHT ever change, if we keep on voting.

Also, many folks have died and many are still dying today to give us the right to vote. I'm not one of those folks who thinks that the country can do no wrong or anything, but I'm not going to disrespect all those who paid the highest sacrifice, nor am I going to make it easy for the politicos to forget about me, by not going to the polls.

Get out and vote, I say!

All the Best,

Tom
