I ordered a C-nat chanter from David Boisvert -Greenwood Pipes, 3 mounths ago.
Yesterday he send me a pix of the stick. Nice looking....

very nice. I also ordered a C chanter from David Boisvert 3 months ago. Mine is to be in Ebony with cocobolo fittings. Maybe I'm next.

What is the wood?

The cocobolo and boxwood makes a very nice combination. Are you getting any keys with it?

Looks beautiful... I particularly like the mount on the bottom of the chanter... very Harrington! Can't wait to hear how it plays.

David Boisvert already saw my post and sent me an email. He said that mine will be ready in a few weeks.

Patrick you be able to see mine when I get it. I had considered cocobolo too.

I have known David for over twenty years. He is a man of his word and I deem his character to be dead sound. No one will ever need worry about receiving their orders as long as he draws breath in this life.....man, I hope I didn't just make a promise you can't keep Dave
