You have our prayers. I went through similar surgery last March. Tell your wife I am in better shape now than I have been in years. Tell her to do all that the doctor says especially exercise. It pays off. She will be amazed at how much better she is going to feel after the first week.

Thanks, Ron.

I'll make sure she reads your message.

Information like this that we've been getting from people who've been through similar or from medical practitioners is really encouraging. Since Friday, she's pretty incapacitated, and that's taking some getting used to.

Best wishes,
Jerry

Jerry,

I am praying for Arleen's complete healing and for God's provision during this difficult time.

Jerry,

All the best to you and your wife. You've been a great guy and the JerryTones you sent me are very precious. Give your wife a big hug from North Carolina and tell her that a positive attitude cures all.

Meilleures voeux,

Paul

My very best wishes for Arleen's quick recovery, and for the rest of your family to find what they need to cope.

Again, thanks, everyone for your thoughts, prayers and support. As I said, we're profoundly grateful.

Some of the logistical issues seem to be falling into place. One of our neighbors/friends has volunteered to take four of the girls during the time we're in Boston and the days immediately following our return, and another family will be able to take the other two. We'll probably keep one of the older girls with us during the first few days back home, to help out until Arleen's ready for the whole tribe again.

Miraculously, a handyman called me completely out of the blue this morning to ask if I needed someone to help with the mobile homes I have to renovate and sell. Please send some good energy in his direction. Finding people to help with the mobile homes has been a big problem, and this fellow is known to be reliable and conscientious. I feel that his showing up unexpectedly is an answer to prayers, as I've been completely at a loss as to how to get this part of our situation to work.

With heartfelt appreciation and thanks,
Jerry

The remarkable thing is, the handyman doesn't know anything about this. He just showed up for no particular reason.

Best wishes,
Jerry

He might think he showed up for no reason but we know better, don't we?

Jerry-- if you're heading to and from Boston from your home, you will pass very near us. If you'd like a rest stop in either direction, and maybe a home cooked dinner, please let us know.

Jerry & Arleen, you have my hopes and prayers that the coming year will be better in every way, and brighter than your best dreams can imagine.
