Folks, it may be time to flex the muscles and give the fists and shillelaghs some swing, for we haven't had a good brawl for a while.

My name being PAUL, yessir, I'll accordingly lead the thought police and be the first to point at the crawling heresy! spreading on these once quiet, uh... meadows?

WORSE some admitted to EIGHT-holing when out of sight of this peaceful community.

It's there, it's rampant, and some even dared to S P E L L the vicious name of the devil's instrument!

Being a man of peace, I certainly won't name the culprits to your righteous ire and deserved right for a good ole hangin', tar and feathers and all, yet

I'd like to see Brewerpaul, and Trisha, and Loren, and Wombat and those of you who know who you are for you can't sleep peacefully, after this whole mass.

Sorry, Zoob-Man, but you're being a little too obscure for me here, or else I'm just being dense. Are you saying you don't like people talking about RECORDERS, or even spelling out the word RECORDER?

What's this eight hole stuff? A tenor recorder has ten holes. Have a close look at those nearest the bell. I know you have at least one in the closet.

Two pairs of holes. And a Boehm flute has more holes than a sieve. And how many holes has a saxoflute Zubraphone?

It's not how many holes you have, it's what you do with them that counts.
