Okay, just to give pancelticpiper his due: "flout" indeed used to mean to mock or jeer. But it's an archaic meaning that has fallen out of use, and would sound strange and wrong according to modern convention. But it's a convention, so feel free to flout it. If you get converts, you can flaunt them.
Thank you.

I'm a might partial to "whistleblower" myself . . . although that might be trademarked.
Anybody have Ed Snowden's number?

I've always wondered what kind of whistle to imagine for the "whistleblower" metaphor. I kind of like to think of a steam whistle with a big old chain to yank on. Noodling a tune on Generation D doesn't seem quite dramatic enough.

Ah, the Acme-style pea whistle. Nowadays I prefer the Fox 40 three-tone whistle. Around 110-120 dB, and the beat tones will take the top of your head off. I carry the micro version on my keychain, just in case I spot some corruption somewhere. Yeah, that's it.

Musician. (This from a guy that first reaches for a civil war styled fife to play most of the time.)
First and foremost, you to play to make music. What you play is secondary. What does one call themselves if they play two instruments? Five?
