Yes. A college in the midwest offered my dad a post as a department head, and he had to decline as it wasn't enough to live on.

This isn't a review...I'll post one later but right now am swamped.

However, here are some recordings of my Syn recorded late last night:

It's a really really nice whistle.

More to come...

I am enquiring about the possibility of low whistles from "The Mysterious Mr. Syn" ;)

I'll post here when I found out anything.

Mr Syn has been known to make rather distinctive low Ds. (I have one of those too.) Perhaps an alter ego still does.

I've been watching this for a while now, and was actually in Canberra last weekend so thought I'd check it out. Met Mr Syn and now own a syn whistle. So do lots of other whistlers, nice whistles and a pleasure doing business.

Now Plagon, I have a hunch that, like me, you knew who Mr. Syn was all along. Right?

Dave: Nope, you are definitely not the only one without a clue to the identity. Count me in that group also.

I thought I knew but apparantly I also don't. I'm not that familiar with all the whistle makers, that's probably why.
