Padraig Donlon, Longford?

Post by Steampacket »

Saw this piper on Come West along the road S14E07 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lINEXg6m7mw
starts at 10:28 Not sure if I have the name right, could be Conal Donal or Connor O'Donnell? Think the show is from 1992. The piper is from Longford. Just wonder if he is still piping. his set looks like a Kennedy, prehaps a Froment. nice piping anyway

Padraig Donlon - it's in the video description :D
'The people who play the flat pipes usually have more peace of mind. I like that.'

Tell us something.: I'm here because I just wanted to change my location... but it turns out much more complicated than I thought. Do I already have the 100 required characters?

On the photo he looks very much like in the video, and like he looked when I met him in 1989.
His instrument was made by Kennedy of Cork.
