Happy St Patrick's Day to C&Fers everywhere

Post by Martin Milner »

I had a great day out in London yesterday, on the Southbank (of the River Thames) near the London Eye I got to see & hear The Undertones & The Divine Comedy, amongst many other groups.

A gorgeous warm & sunny weekend for almost the first time this year helped boost the crowds, and I guess many of the London Irish have taken the day off to continue celebrating.

I'm back in the office nursing my cuts and bruises after getting knocked off my bicycle on Friday :roll: Nothing broken though, so my glass is 3/4 full!

Once again, part of the Chicago River was dyed green in honor of St. Patrick's Day, with parades both Saturday and Sunday and glorious spring weather here as well.

And Martin, I feel your pain! I fell off my bike while riding to work once when the tire caught in a railroad track. Nothing broke for me either, but the bruises were, well, memorable, to say the least. I never wore a helmet until then; now I never ride my bike--or let my kids ride theirs--without one. Hope you feel better soon!

Happy St. Patrick's Day from the Western part of the world! :D
Light spills into the hidden valley,
Illuminating the falls, paths, and
The breathtaking Elvish dwelling
Set back among great trees.
Lilting strains of Elven songs fill my heart;
I am finally home.

Thanks, Martin, and Happy St. Pat's to you too!

I will be wearing an indigo peasant top (very "thunder only happens when it's raining") and black pants for tonight's shows, BUT I did buy a bottle of green hairspray...

Time for the wearin' o' the green and the reinforcin' o' the stereotypes!!! Giddyup!

Happy St Patrick's Day to everyone! I'll be sure to raise a glass to all of you tonight! (Although I hope you'll forgive me if I make it one communal glass, rather than an individual glass for everyone on the board. I can't hold my alcohol THAT well! :D)

Just got back from doing a St. Pats performance at my daughters school. Music, stories and a bit of history, what a great way to spend the day.
