Hey Ya'all,
Just thought I'd drop everyone a line as I have not been very active lately. I leave for the United States Marine Corps boot camp on June 4th. I sold my half set about 2 months ago, so I am uilleann pipe-less. But I am extremely excited to go! I'll be back on when I can, and trust me I'll be buying a new set.

- Tell us something.: I love uilleann pipes and I have become obsessed with them. But now the antispam software is just irritating the hell out of me so I am typing random crap to get past the minimum 100 character limit.

Maybe you will run into Lieutenant Colonel Pat Carroll, a highly regarded marine. I always think of him as the uilleann piper who is able to play the toughest reed I ever made. I offered to scrape it down one time, and he said "No thanks, I like it like that."

Even though I did basic training on Parris Island about thirty years ago I still consider it to be one of the best educational experiences I've ever had. It's something you'll carry with you the rest of your life. All the best and good luck!

Best wishes and stay safe.
