self-imposed exile
I like to keep up with what's happening in the used instruments exchange because some great instruments change hands at some very reasonable prices. I've found that I have to banish myself from that section whenever I get paid though. My paychecks only come in once a month and I would be too tempted to spend it all on whistles and not have anything left for things like food and gas (which is far too expensive). It's my way of trying to control the whoad.

Take a trip up the hill from Poway one of these days, and I'll cure you. You'll leave thinking, "There but for the grace of god go I."kokopelli wrote:It's my way of trying to control the whoad.

That's entering a whole new territory that I'm not ready for yet. I haven't even finished college yet.mutepointe wrote:A wife would solve that problem lickedty-split.
I might just take you up on that offer but I'm not so sure about it curing me. If I get to try a new whistle and I like it I'm more likely to add to my list of whistles I want.MTGuru wrote:Take a trip up the hill from Poway one of these days, and I'll cure you. Things get a little out of hand and next thing you know you're bluer than three smurfs.kokopelli wrote: It's my way of trying to control the whoad.
And now there was no doubt that the trees were really moving - moving in and out through one another as if in a complicated country dance. ('And I suppose,' thought Lucy, 'when trees dance, it must be a very, very country dance indeed.')

You'll end up domesticated for sure.
First thing you know you'll be changing your underware daily and surfing once a month,
instead of the other way round.
