WTB McGee GLP in D or E flat

Well, Ive had a number of McGee GLP’s in D as well as E flat and like I do with most of my Instruments let them go and then came to regret it. Ive got a little discretionary Cash at the moment so am looking to by a used GLP in D or E flat. The MDT suits me fine and I don’t really need a metal slide so if you’ve got one to let go, give me a shout.

Ben, if you have some “discretionary cash” laying around…I would love some regulators for my uilleann pipes!

See you at the sessions!

share the love

I believe Dow M. (dow on this board) has just the flute you’re looking for. I’ve played it; it’s a nice one.

Well, I HAD the one you’re looking for. I ended up trading it to Eilam for a Burns boxwood. Sweet flute, and lots different from the GLP. It’s a nice change, as the GLP is essentially identical to my Wm. Hall & Son six key, but without the keys.

Keep looking, Ben. Something will turn up, I’m sure.

And yes, Cathy, it is a nice one. Part of me misses it a little, but more of me likes the Burns.

Dow , is that a Badger on your Avator? I understand they are quite skittish

Nah, not skittish, just nearsighted and grumpy, like me.

Dow, does that Badger have his contacts in? Is he on an anti depressant? :poke:

Nope, no contacts. No anti-depressants either. I had that I’m grumpy, not depressed.
